Coloring Life – Your Transformation to Growth Through Loss
Everyone experiences loss – whether it’s a loved one, a job or career, a marriage, a pet. Most of us are not well equipped to talk about it or deal with it. Yet, loss is a critical part of life - we grow through our grappling with it. Hearing about someone else's story of loss and grief can be just the therapy you need to help you move through your own. This beautiful, connected afternoon celebrates Alise's latest work on loss and resilience through her book called 'Coloring Life'. This is an impactful afternoon that begins with the story of losing both my parents 28 days apart, the wisdom about living that came from the loss, and is enlarged by the sharing of fellow participants about their own experiences of loss and what it taught them.

Women's Storytelling - Connecting and Lifting Through Sharing

There's power in sharing our stories - what we've overcome, how we've surpassed our wildest goals, the deep heartbreak we’ve suffered, and our most cherished hopes for the future. Stories depict the breadth of the human condition, the depths of our sentiments, and the height of our spirits.
This evening of sharing vulnerably to open minds, heal hearts, and soar spirits begins with a story from the Passionately Striving in "Why" anthology and follows with local women sharing their stories that comprise the contents of their lives and who they have become.
You will receive the power of connection, engage with the storytellers and each other, and leave feeling fulfilled and enlarged.
